Foxboro Soccer is dependent on our quality and committed referrees!

In-town referees are typically U11 - U14 players. Certification is not required for in-town referees. If you are interested in refereeing in-town games please contact Pam Morrison for more information.  Town Referees are paid between $10 and $16 per game.

Travel referees (BAYS games) are required to be certified through the Massachusetts Referee Association. In order to be certified, you must be at least 12 years old. Travel referees primarily work in Foxboro, but have the opportunity to work in other towns if they are interested. For more information contact the Travel Referee Assignor, Shawn Higgins.  Travel Referees are paid between $16 and $40 per game.

All travel referees are required to have a current year certification. This will be verified with the Massachusetts Referee Association prior to the start of each season.  Referees are required to recertify annually.

What do I wear? - Referee Uniforms

All certified referees (travel or town) are required to wear a proper referee uniform - shirt (including current certification patch), black shorts (or pants), socks, cards, flags, watch and whistle.

In-town referees who have not completed a certification class will be given a Referee T-shirt.
